A few days ago Jane and Jeroen received an envelope and a small but surprising gift… it was a box of fresh eggs. Inside was a letter from Sylvester, a talented student from many years ago who had received an Eagle Scholarship to finish secondary school in Arusha.
A heartwarming letter of thanks speaks for itself, however it was a nice surprise to receive as it was great to hear that Sylvester considers receiving the scholarship as the turning point in his life! Largely thanks to his own efforts, Sylvester managed to complete a university degree and the small leg-up we gave him was just enough to set him on this path. Very rewarding!
