A couple of weeks ago, students at Hareabi Primary School were surprised by an unexpected gift from Dutch tennis club ProTe In when each student received a tennis ball. Perhaps this doesn’t sound very impressive compared to the Sinterklaas bonanza we just survived, but they were super happy and it serves as a good reminder how simple things can also make a real impact, especially if it gives joy to children who have so little.
